This fine art wildlife greeting card features a group of nine brown pelicans (pelecanus occidentalis) gathered together on large coastal rocks engulfed in the ocean tide. The birds are looking in all different directions. One peers from behind the rock while others rest, preen, or perch. A variety of colorful starfish also cling to the rocks.

Brown pelicans (pelecanus occidentalis) make spectacular dives into the water from up to 65 feet up in the air! Upon impact, air sacs inflate around their internal organs and they deliberately land on their left side to avoid damage to the trachea and esophagus on the right side of their neck.

Printed on Heavy stock eco-friendly paper. Each card comes with a beautiful Coconut/Wood Fiber Envelope which creates a lovely contrast of white on brown.
